Place where children gather
Our 5 Strategic Intentions
Leadership Integrity
It is our intention to be innovative in our leadership, entrepreneurial in our thinking, strategic in our actions, and create the Association of Gundala into a model of cultural and early educational excellence.
Educational Excellence
It is our intention to create innovative learning space which foster children’s natural imagination and genius, empowering them with life skills, knowledge and exciting experiences which inspires a love of lifelong learning.
Inter-generational Success
It is our intention to strengthen the right of self-determination of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people. We aim to create a legacy of children and families who are empowered by their own visions of success, have the capacity to determine and control their own lives, and take inspired actions which bring them freedom, cultural protection, fulfilment and personal happiness.
Community is Unity
It is our intention to build meaningful relationships with our Gundala families, local Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander organisations, and the broader community, which empowers people with a sense of connection, contribution, collaboration and celebration.
Cultural Compass
It is our intention to recognise, respect and responsibly embed the richness of Quandamooka/Indigenous knowledge systems, cultures, and community aspirations within Gundala’s education programs, services and governance structures.
