Auckland, New Zealand is where we are from. My Mum's side is Samoan and are from the island Savai’i and our village is Satuiatua.

Knowing that I can be apart of little humans development and growth as they meet milestones and achieve their goals is a blessing. I get to meet children from all walks of life, learn about many beautiful cultures which allows me the opportunity to understand more about diversity and inclusion.

As an Early Childhood Educator, I get the opportunity to help prepare little people for this big wide world encouraging and guiding them to become resilient, confident, unique individuals.

Kathryn O'Regan

Senior Educator

I am a proud Wanjurr Majay woman from Yidinji Country and a Kuinmurrburra woman from Darumbal Country. I have resided in the Bayside and Redland’s, raised my family and worked in this area for 45 years and I am now recognised as a Quamdamooka woman by local Elders.

I have been an employee of Gundala Kindergarten for almost 13 years. I hold a Certificate 3 in Early Childhood Education and Care with the intention of working towards a Diploma. I am passionate about sharing culture, language, dance and songs to the children and families I work with.

I love being an educator because every single day we make a difference in someone’s life which goes far beyond knowledge. We inspire, support, mentor and get the chance to discover and share some of the best parts of ourselves as human beings.
